Glacier Hills recognizes the value of high-quality rehabilitation programs, and the critical role they play in a patient's recovery process. Our strong and successful rehabilitation program is designed for specific medical challenges such as recovery from stroke, orthopedic injuries, joint replacements or cardiac conditions. The program ensures optimum quality therapy for each resident's individual medical condition.
A team of certified professionals with many years of experience in clinical rehabilitation uses the latest and most innovative equipment and methodologies. In addition to the Director of Wellness and Rehabilitation, the team includes certified and licensed physical and occupational therapists, speech and language pathologists, registered nurses and dieticians, and licensed social workers. All work closely with each resident and their families to ensure excellent outcomes.
The Rehab Therapy Department is also equipped with a working kitchen, a bathtub for ambulatory practice, and an automobile for transfer training. The goal is to return the resident to their highest attainable level of function in the least restrictive environment.
