Entrance Criteria
 Residents moving into an independent apartment must meet the following criteria:
- Independently mobile (with or without adaptive equipment)
- Ability to be orientated to environment and routine
- Independent in Activities of Daily Living
- Be independent in toileting needs (i.e., incontinence, ostomy or catheter care)
- Be able to get to meals without physical or verbal assistance
- Come to the dining room at least once a day if there is a kitchenette in their apartment or three times a day if there is no kitchenette
- Exhibit socially appropriate behavior, not be a danger to self or others and not disturb the peace and tranquility of other residents
- Maintain good personal hygiene
- Dress appropriately in common areas
