In mid July of each year, Glacier Hills sponsors an old-fashioned, outdoor concert on its grounds. The entire Glacier Hills community is invited, as well as the Ann Arbor area community. Families, friends and neighbors gather on the lawn around the gazebo to hear The Saline Big Band play favorites from Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington and Glenn Miller and others. Root beer floats and fresh popped popcorn is available. The concert is free and a highlight in the summertime for the neighborhood.
Fashion Show & Luncheon
Each fall Glacier Hills Retirement Center hosts a Fashion Show & Luncheon for its retirement center residents and invited guests. Glacier Hills' own resident models display the latest fashions. An elegant luncheon is catered by Glacier Hills' Executive Chef and his team of culinary professionals.
