Dining
The menus are carefully planned by our Registered Dieticians in conjunction with the management team of the Dining Services Department. Meals are tastefully prepared, beautifully presented and nutritious. Each individual Nursing Center resident’s specific dietary needs and requirements are carefully met, whether on a salt-free diet or requiring mechanical soft foods. Individual taste preferences are paid attention to so that residents with a liking for ice cream, for example, receive this tasty treat frequently (every day if they like), while those who dislike a particular food receive a substitute. Residents having guests or private parties can easily request individual guest meals or small-group catered meals. Our Executive Chef is glad to help arrange special parties and meals for any occasion. |

The dining rooms at the Glacier Hills Nursing Center were designed to maximize meal-time pleasure for our residents. Separate dining rooms were designed for small groups of residents to encourage socialization, minimize confusion and provide an elegant, yet warm, home-like atmosphere. No more than 15 or 20 residents dine together in tastefully appointed dining rooms with attached service kitchens. This allows each resident to receive greater personal attention and assistance as needed.
